A top Trump ally said ABC News had informed both campaigns in writing last week that it would employ the “CNN rules” and both had confirmed that Sept. 10 was a “go.”

Ironic that the rules meant for Biden actually worked in Trump's favor because it forced him to be disciplined plus he couldn't look to the audience and get distracted.

Trump is great when he talks about policy. But that's a big IF.
