This is subsequent to Telegram Founder Pavel Durov’s Arrest in France for allowing free speech (i.e., failure to censor).
The Solution 👉 Telegram announced that to prevent this, apply these settings:
Go through each step:
Settings
Screen time
Content and Privacy Restrictions
TURN THE BUTTON ON
iTunes and App Store Purchases
Deleting Apps
CHECK "DO NOT ALLOW"
Share this far and wide! Even if you don't have Telegram, many independent journalists use it for worldwide news and media downloads!
What happens in the UK does not stay in the UK.
Just like what happened in California did not stay in California.
Once one does it they all do it.
You can bet they will all follow suit.
This may only give the app a ‘stay’ of execution..
They’ll “fix” it when the next “update” is forced upon us..

That stated, I just downloaded it and made the setting changes just to spite them.
Oddly, immediately after downloading Telegram I got an email from Apple ‘notifying me of the download to a device not used previously.’ Honest injun.
Note: The ‘device’ is NOT new, HAS been used to download apps very recently and has NOT had any changes to the account to prompt such an email.

My internet provider and I both move around my devices apparent location at random. I get notifications about a “new” device all the time. Desktop, tablet and cell phone.

Why would any adult have Content and Privacy Restrictions turned on?
The notification from Apple or Google simply refers to a new app that has not acquired rights on that device before. It is a “new” device for that app. A device
“not used previously” by that app. No reason for elaborate conspiracy theories.
