When evil takes over no places are going to be safe.

Some Rural and small town areas have terrible drug problems nowadays.

Some rural and small town areas law enforcement have their hands full,,battling against big city street gangs which are invading their areas.

In case of societal breakdown, we all would have to be ready to take care of ourselves , regardless of where we live

You bet. Small towns and rural areas have thousands of mentally ill homeless, criminal gangs, American hating foreigners, vandals, millions of illegals, stores are being looted by mobs of farmers and church goers, drive by shootings....etc...

So bad I am now considering moving back to a big city.

The pleasant sounds of police helicopters use to put me to sleep...I’d wake up in the morning to the sound of sirens...I just pretended they were exotic birds singing during mating rituals.

And when the illegal alien’s started 980,000 leaf blowers in Southern CA everyday, I just imagined them as a gentle wind blowing across fields of flowers.

And for fun, every time we’d hear those deep base boom boxes all the gangsters had in their cars, we just imagined them as distant drums from an enchanted tiki room, a pleasant flower drum song from a south pacific village.
