Since I usually paid between $50 and $100 dollars for my cars, I have owned a lot of the very interesting old cars and enjoyed all of them, they didn’t usually last very long by the time I got them, but it was a huge variety.

Oh, I lived through those days. You could go to the car auction can pick up a car for $50.
The next day a trip to Earl Scheib for a $29.95 paint job, and you were cruisin' in style!
