Bismarck was not trying to recreate the Charlemagne's....really Karl Der Grosse's empire. He just wanted to unite the smaller German states under Prussian leadership and exclude Austria. Bismarck had a specific goal and knew when to stop. Once he had achieved his aim, he oversaw a generation of peace in Europe while the newly reunified Germans consolidated their previously divided people into one country.

I don't agree that Hitler was inevitable nor that he was groomed by homosexuals.....though the SA and SS did have plenty of homosexuals in their ranks including at the higher levels.

I'm very dubious of this claim. Hitler made plenty of enemies and they were willing to accuse him of all kinds of sexual degeneracy. It *might* be true but there is no evidence for it other than their claims and they were people who hated him already so.....

If you are truly interested in knowing about Germany’s National Sin, you can read German writers from the 1930s and 1940s who identified the rise of Nation Socialism to the Sodomite movement in Germany. I’m guessing you don’t read German…so here a two books that extensively document and translate in English the German writers of this time period…

“The Pink Swastika”, and “The Poisoned Stream” are great books on NAZI homosexuality, and Germany’s National Sin

Actually, I didn't mention military, militia or police of any national identity, only operatives political (or social) loyalties.
