Putin brutally mocked for bizarrely managing to wear ear protectors the wrong way

Vladimir Putin has earned himself a slagging after choosing to wear ear protectors in a weird way. The alleged reason is even more ridiculous than it looks.

The deranged Russian president was recently spotted at a Chechen shooting range alongside the head of the Chechen Republic and close military ally Ramzan Kadyrov.

While the Chechen warlord wore his ear protectors the regular way, on his head, the Russian despot wore the protective gear with the strap jutting out around his chin.

Doesn't the UK media have obituary sections for the Heroes of Ukraine? Also in attendance was Prime Minister of Finland. You'd think there would have been some sort of a write-up on this instead of hiding these things all the time. Maybe you know the reason why that is?

The Kursk incursion took so many troops from the defense of the Donbas that the front lines there can no longer be held up. It has also diverted scarce artillery ammunition which the Donbas defenders now lack. The Ukrainian defense in Donbas is currently crumbling with the Russian side taking several villages per day.

There was some hope expressed that Russia would divert troops from its Donbas attack towards Kursk. But the Kursk operation is on Russian ground where the Russian army is allowed to use conscript unit to defend the country. Conscripts are not allowed to take part in the operation within Ukraine. This gives the Russian army a large reserve that it can use against the incursion.

This a tempest in a teapot.   Back in the day fifty or sixty years ago people would put on headphones that way if they were asked to listen to something specific for a moment.   Sometimes it was because the person didn't want hair cooties from someone else.   Headphones were not ubiquitous and therefore there was no etiquette about them.   I suspect that is the case for Russians nowadays.

I agree, he was wearing them the way he wanted to for whatever reason, but not because he was too stupid to know how they are usually worn, he has also worn them before and has been on ranges before.
