Key point:
If our military can’t stop drones from overflying sensitive installations (let alone identify the operators)...
...then NOTHING will stop a serious assassination attempt.
Good point. It would be nice to know what the hell is going on. But whatever these drones are, they represent, as you say, an extreme weakness in our system.
