Most people don't understand that bears don't bother killing their meals.
Timothy Treadwell got to find out what it felt like to get eaten while he was alive.
According to Wiki they had camped next to the shore where the bears got their salmon - and food was short that season
The bears he was used to had apparently already gone off into hibernation / left the immediate area
There was a different group of bears including one that he remarked that he was not comfortable around
They also had a drawing of the campsite as it was found including where they (law enforcement / rangers) killed a cub that charged them after they killed its (apparently) mother (I think)
There were other descriptions I’ll not mention here - yikes
Just horrifying
