I agree about using Thunderbird. I have Outlook versions 2003, 2010, 2016 and 2019 (all because my workplace required it) but Thunderbird is the best alternative out there to my knowledge. There will be a learning curve, but it will be worth it.

Side note, however. I use version 102 and I won't let TB update past that. My reasoning is simple, newer versions lost a lot of the appeal of the older versions, and the newer versions broke a lot of the add-ins that I use.

Just food for thought, but yes, Thunderbird is the best alternative out there unless someone knows of something better.
