In Idaho, you want to get rid of your CA plates as soon as you arrive. An acquaintance in Idaho got accosted while driving her car with CA plates. She was really rattled and scared, so she pulled over onto a side street and the road-rager pulled in beside her and started yelling at her! She got away safely.
I can see that persecution happening. But you realize there are two perspectives to consider there right? Was it because of the Ca plates? Or was it because she was driving like a Californian? We have a lot of issues with Ca drivers here and it is not the plate.
