Chris Kyle went on to make other numerous outrageous statements that were never verified.
He was a victim of his new found fame and couldn't keep his mouth shut.
For what it's worth, Chris Kyle brought it on himself and Ventura had no recourse but to sue.
Ventura won that libel lawsuit against Chris Kyle. Kyle's biggest problem was having a big mouth and is on record for embellishing several events in his post military history that never happened.
