Also, it oughta be national building code that the shared wall in duplexes must be 3 foot thick solid concrete.
Ain’t the first time this happened.
I think it was J.W. Harden who shot a guy through the wall of a hotel room because of a guy snoring.
He jumped out the window into a wagon after he figured out that J.B. Hickock was on the way to investigate.
He shot a man just for snoring!
Late last night
I slew my wife
and laid her
‘neath the flooring
I was loth to do her so
but I had to
stop her snoring
I developed a sleep disorder after the stress of having to sleep next to a snorer. I eventually had to wait until he left for work at 6:00 a.m. to go to sleep then when we were finally able to buy a home where I could have a separate bedroom, and he got diagnosed with sleep apnea given a CPAP, I still had my days and nights mixed up for years and he wondered why lol. I have PTSD to this day and cannot sleep alongside another human being. I fully understand the man’s frustration. But I would have at least tried white noise or getting a pull out couch bed before resorting to this confrontation. Maybe the guy did we don’t know.
Clay Allison shot a man, who was sleeping, because he thought he kept looking his way. Said, he always felt remorse for that one.
J.B. Miller shot his grand parents, both, when he was 8 years old. They had been harsh with him for something he done wrong.
He shot his brother-in-law while the guy slept on the porch of his house in a hammock. No reason, just shot him because he didn’t like him.
“Involuntary manslaughter is the unintended killing of a person while committing a crime, or acting in a reckless or negligent manner. This type of homicide is committed without malice or intent, even accidentally, and is considered a less serious crime than murder. “
So how did this crime fit this definition?
Johnny Cash shot a man in reno, just to watch him die...oh wait, that was just a song
I tell my wife that my snoring protects her from wild animals and tout my success rate. I don’t think she’s buying it though.
You move into a place with a shared wall and noise is a given.
LOL. Any time you see a promotion for an old Western documentary about Hardin, this is what they say.
Yep. Back in 2015 we were considering moving and my wife talked me into taking a look at a brand new high end “Twin home” as theyvare now calling them.
Well changing the name doesn’t make it any better. When we were looking at the other side some more people walked in to speak to the realtor.....we could hear every word throught the shared wall......that was the end of that BS. 😏
That’s the only thing I remember from those ads.
I don’t know, the whole damn thing sounds like self defense to me.
“Prosecutors said Casey stabbed Wallace after the other man pushed in his first-floor window and threatened to kill him over his snoring.”
Sounds like castle defense. Other guy broke in to the snorer's home.
I think it was the Time-Life Old West series. There were commercials for it back in the 80s. And that’s all I remember from the commercials too. LOL.
That's abject ignorance right there.
Admit it.
In my case, I spent $25 (based upon reviews); worst $$ I've ever spent and STILL suffering... (agreed on walls, however, though I will NEVER live in the city ever again)
There is no justice
I can kind of see both points of view, but I guess you’d have to be there to know for sure. Noise and sleeplessness can drive a person crazy. Stabbing is an extreme reaction unless the other guy was a lot bigger and had actually come most or all of the way in through the window.
This is a dramatic example of how sleep apnea can shorten your lifespan.
