Didn’t Russia pull this on the Nazi’s in WWII? Ukraine won’t be able to hold the territory so what is the point?

The Communists on this site argue that Russia is winning when it gains territory and also winning when it loses territory and vast numbers of men and POWs. Putin is a GENIUS - he's always winning! LOLOLOL
