I believe Joe is referring to the tiresome back and forth between blond supporters of wither Zelensky and Ukraine or Putin’s Russia in the invasion war. Per them, you are either a globohomo fag supporting Ukraine or a Putin puffer supporting Russia, complete with vicious name calling. Dominates some days. Most? Probably why donations on the toilet to keep site running. No easy answers

What’s a “zeeper”?

"Zeeper" is the derogatory term that pro-Russia / Putinistas newcomers on FR give to people reporting news from Ukraine that goes against the Russian narrative.

It starts off with a Z, to match Zelensky, the corrupt leader of Ukraine.

Let me give you an example:

- I believe that Zelensky is a slime ball, and that the Europeans should be shouldering the vast, vast majority of funding the Ukraine defense.

- That being said, I think and hope that Putin's Russia invading force should be beat back to the hell they came from.

- This, in the opinion of various rabid Putinistas here, makes me a "Zeeper".
