If you’re on the YT website, you just have to make sure the browser window isn’t zoomed in too far. If you decrease the zoom so that the video window is half the size of your browser window, you should be able to see if there are any comments below the video. If “comments are disabled” is under the video window, then there aren’t any, but there might be a chat panel next to the video window on the right which might have top chat comments there.
