Ukraine ping
Trent Telenko claims that this is a corps size incursion, i.e. tens of thousands of men, as opposed to the hundreds who entered previously. Given the almost complete lack of Russian presence there, combat unit-wise, this Ukrainian force may be sufficient to take Kursk, although probably not hold it. Symbolically, the fall of Kursk would be terrible for Putin’s image. Practically, it’s questionable whether Ukraine can hold it. But the objective of choking off supplies to the Russian troops around Kharkov, and perhaps forcing them to surrender, may be attainable.
The Uke morons rolled across the border for 5 miles and cut off the route of natural gas to the EU. This is some real Mensa happening stuff here.
