Is the roommate a “Childless Spider Woman”? LOL.
Give her 70 bucks and get over it.
I don’t like spiders (and snakes)
But I don’t think I’d kill my roommates pet spider.
If my roommate got a pet snake I’d have to move out. Or vice versa.
Guilty, if you’re sober.
Charged? Stupid waste of time, but I’d get a new room mate ASAP.
They’re actually kind of cute:

If you cannot tolerate roommate’s pet either move them or move yourself. To deliberately kill it, something a roommate treasured — you are a horrid person and deserve some time in jail away from decent folk.
WUT, later on your roommate has a boyfriend you don’t like so you key his car?
Gotta be commie trash to act this way.
Raising Hell over drowning a spider while 10,000 babies slaughtered every month in the US is no big deal.
Insecticide. Better call Black Flag.
She got caught on the interNET;-)
She was jealous
“eight-legged cats”
Um......no.
Soda, shovel, shut up.
Sounds to me like the prosecutors office has way too much time on their hands.
Guilty, if you’re sober.

LOL! I’ll take you word for it and won’t peek.
If you kill a $70 lobster nobody is sad. Except for the price.
Make her pay the $70 plus $200 for emotional distress. It’s a spider, for crying out loud! Who has a pet spider, anyway? You can buy exotic animals, but you can’t make a “pet” out of them; they have no emotions, only instinct. A curiosity specimen; a possession, like a piece of jewelry or a hobby, is all “pet” snakes, lizards, spiders and fish, are. Some bvirds will interact with a person, and mammals will, but insects, reptiles, amphibians and fish? No.
America and her first-world problems...
Isn’t the bigger crime the fact that she drinks ginger ale?
The crime is in the killing of her roommate’s 70 dollar pet for kicks.
She needs a week or two in jail and restitution.
I wouldn’t have a roommate with a pet spider but I won’t destroy people’s stuff for kicks, especially their pets.
