That’s what I get for not reading, I thought this was going to be Kamala’s Agenda.

Too much information Donald. 5 or 6 would do as people’s attention spans are not that long.

This is his RNC platform.

I appreciate President Trump trimmed the platform to 20 points but I would be happier with it being unambiguous. They've left themselves with room on number 2. My biggest single complete. Senator Vance clearest, all illegals pack and go, President Trump has said similar. Yet the platform plank says 'Carry out the largest deportation operation in American history.'

Reality check, Operation Wetback resulted in only 1.3 million people being deported.

And when you open up the linked details, they only say they will "Begin Largest Deportation Program in American History".

Begin, largest, or all? Lots of room to claim victory for nothing.

I must be missing something as this article is attributed to Presidwnr Trump. That’s some weird misspelling.

Twenty in a single list is an accomplishment, even with the 16 pages of supporting detail. Too bad it is inconsistent and sloppy but they rushed it through just before the convention without discussion, feedback, or editing.

2024, Republican, 20, Democrat, ?

2020, Republican, 304, Democrats, 300-500

2016, Republican, 304, Democrats, 227

2012, Republican, 206, Democrats, 332

2008, Republican, 173, Democrats, 365

This is a very strong and pleasing list of planks.

1 Seal the border and stop the migrant invasion

Excellent!

2 Carry out the largest deportation operation in American history

Excellent!

3 End inflation, and make America affordable again

Excellent, but not going to be east at all

4 Make America the dominant energy producer in the world, by far!

Excellent, and this one we know we can do as we have done it before

5 Stop outsourcing, and turn the United States into a manufacturing superpower

Excellent, but lots of corporate heads, entrenched RINOs and Chamber of Commerce types will hate that (which only adds to the excellent rating)

6 Large tax cuts for workers, and no tax on tips!

Excellent, but I am concerned the tip tax thing is going to be the thing people will game. I don't want that to become the new trendy thing, and I don't want to tax small businesses excessively in lieu of taxing workers.

7 Defend our constitution, our bill of rights, and our fundamental freedoms, including freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and the right to keep and bear arms

Honestly depressing this needs to be a plank; the idea that ANY party would oppose any of that is un-American.

8 Prevent World War Three, restore peace in Europe and in the Middle East, and build a great iron dome missile defense shield over our entire country -- all made in America

If this Iron Dome suggestion is aimed at a national Anti-Ballistic Missile system (or systems) I am 1000% excited here. The current Israeli Iron Dome itself is more geared to short-range missile and rocket threats so a lot of it is not really appliable to America. Restoring peace in Europe is not as simple as it sounds; in the Middle East, even less so. The Abraham Accords show the Trump team can make significant headway towards peace, at least in the Middle East.

9 End the weaponization of government against the American people

Please yes. This means battling the Deep State in a much more effective fashion than last time, and working to curtail the administrative state's role in the Department of Justice in particular. Again, not an easy task, but a very worthy one.

10 Stop the migrant crime epidemic, demolish the foreign drug cartels, crush gang violence, and lock up violent offenders

Also please yes. This is really the other side fo the coin for item 9; that one focuses on the internal issues, and this one focuses on the external symptoms that the item 9 issues have allowed to fester.

11 Rebuild our cities, including Washington DC, making them safe, clean, and beautiful again.

Maybe actually the only item I disagree on. The only way to repair the cities is to create the strong motivation for the locals to do it; a Federal reconstruction project will just fall apart and result in 100s of Cabrini Greens 20 years down the road. Use Federal funds and energies to create the encouragement to do the work, but don't dedicate Federal funds to actually doing the work. Only a sense of local ownership will give us a chance of avoiding the decay that seems to haunt Federal building projects.

12 Strengthen and modernize our military, making it, without question, the strongest and most powerful in the world

Yes please. And help fund this by not spending Defense dollars on social experiments.

13 Keep the U.S. dollar as the world's reserve currency

Yes please

14 Fight for and protect Social Security and Medicare with no cuts, including no changes to the retirement age

Yes please, though I do think there is significant room for cuts if you eliminate disability fraud.

15 Cancel the electric vehicle mandate and cut costly and burdensome regulations

Yes please, and also cut Federal price supports for electric cars, at least until somebody manages to design some technology that is as safe and energy-efficient as current internal combustion technology. A 200-mile limit or even 400-mile limit before all all-night recharge is NOT acceptable.

16 Cut federal funding for any school pushing critical race theory, radical gender ideology, and other inappropriate racial, sexual, or political content on our children

Yes please; also cut Federal grant funding for non-governmental agencies pushing these things.

17 Keep men out of women's sports

Yes please.

18 Deport pro-Hamas radicals and make our college campuses safe and patriotic again

Yes please; for students and staff both

19 Secure our elections, including same day voting, voter identification, paper ballots, and proof of citizenship

Yes please. I know elections are the responsibility of the states and counties, but I would think at the very least these requirements could be legislated for any Federal office race.

20 Unite our country by bringing it to new and record levels of success

Yes, but sadly, there is a noticeable slice of our population that would see this as a bad thing. I hope we can come up with ways to shift more of these people to our side, as I believe ignorance and misinformation are the true causes for most of it among the general population. The power-seekers of the Left love an ignorant and misinformed mass to control and manipulate; this is what we need to counteract (maybe as much or even more than any of the other items, this is the key to saving America)

Some of it is too broad. I do wish he would not be so boastful. He told Bartiromo that he was going to put the auto industry back to work and create millions of jobs in just two weeks in addition to curing a list of diseases by spending more money for research. Research is a welfare program for eggheads an awful lot of the time. They have no reason to finish. Drill baby drill is not a national energy policy which is what we need.

No matter, it is better than the dempcraps plan whatever that is.

If he would get rid of about 20,000,000 wetbacks I'd be really happy. If he could eliminate at least four agencies it would be a big bonus. If he could gut, rebuild and reform military and government procurement that would be icing on the cake. If he would and could get us back to zero base budgeting it would be a miracle.

Nixon had plans to drastically cut the size of government and look where it got him.
