The cave in question required a half hour of ascending and descending, through very narrow holes and gaps, just to get to the fossil area.

It took several years of preparation before exploration was considered safe.

No one understood how our pre-human cousins could do this without light.

Eventually, evidence of fire was discovered in the fossil area, - but no where else.

Perhaps the fossils belong to victims of asphyxiation, which might explain their highly preserved condition.

Sure neatly burred themselves while dying one after the other - can’t you accept that caves have more than one air source? Or are you just wasting time?
