The problem with all leftards theories.. besides reality... is science, nature and history.
Until we get cheap and reliable energy, “green” is going nowhere. And the cheapest, most reliable energy in the near term is natural gas, replacing coal and already in place as the “back-up” alternative when both solar panels and wind velocity fail.
But beyond that, the newer designs of Small Modular Nuclear Reactors will displace natural gas as both even cheaper and more reliable, with the capability to run 24/7/365 flat out full production for up to eight years before refueling. In between times of full loads, part of the electricity generated may be used to generate gaseous hydrogen from what otherwise would be polluted water, sea water, or whatever, and gather it to charge up fuel cells, the only logical progression for electric vehicles, skipping the use of large battery arrays altogether.
But people are just going to have to get over these silly superstitions regarding carbon dioxide being a “pollutant”, and the “dangers” of runaway heat and radioactivity from nuclear power generation.
