The Biden administration and like-minded governments around the world are racing to secure their global climate strategy against a potential rollback under Donald Trump — an effort that has gained urgency since the ground shifted under the U.S. presidential race a month ago.
The push includes leaning on the World Bank to unleash money for clean-energy projects in developing nations in a way that a future Trump administration could not unilaterally reverse.
Meanwhile, climate diplomats and environmentalists have been holding their first early discussions about ways to persuade deep-pocketed investors that green energy is still the wave of the future — even if Trump wins in November.
Harris’ jump to the top of the ticket lifted some of their cloud of doom, but hasn’t ended the urgency of preparing for Trump.
“Joe Biden has ultimately done a great service to international climate efforts with his decision not to run,” said Jochen Flasbarth, the top civil servant in Germany’s development ministry.
The climate discussions are nowhere near as advanced as the parallel efforts by NATO and other U.S. allies to ease the disruption that Trump’s return would bring to their security and defense relationships.
Climate supporters are up against some unforgiving obstacles. One is the prospect that Trump — who has labeled climate change a “hoax,” condemns green energy spending as a “scam” and pulled the U.S. out of the 2015 Paris Agreement during his first term — would have the tools to wreak significant damage to the international climate regime.

We spent 25 years and 15 trillion to combat climate change and yet global temperatures rose slightly. And India, which lies on the equator, burns 3 times as much coal as we do, erasing the emissions cuts we made.
Hmmmmm! Rollback “solutions” and stop investing in a mostly non existent “problem”. Works for me.
Green energy will not stop climate change. It’s wasting tax payer money. Government forcing people into electric cars, stoves, hot water heaters and all else will just make more hardship and misery. If private citizens want to invest in green energy, fine. It’s their risk. Getting government to require it is corporate fascism.
Stop even discussing human caused climate change like it is a real thing. It lends it credibiluty. It is a hoax and would be best if we treat it as such.

What is hilarious is the thought that we in the west can stop all the garbage going into the atmosphere, while China and India keep dumping their worse stuff on our front lawn.

The world is still emerging from an ice age. It’s gonna get warmer, because it always has.
Green Energy is like having the most awesome new auto, with all the latest gadgets, but no engine. A vehicle that requires two dozen people to push the car for you whenever you want to travel.
This is a vehicle that looks great, but doesn’t actually work, which reduces its value to zero.
I’ve thought this comparison to be accurate because Green Energy cannot stand on its own. It requires massive amounts of taxpayer subsidies to hide the actual cost.
Governments have spent trillions on this ridiculous ripoff, and yet Green Energy accounts for less than 5% of total energy needs.
Any form of energy that can’t stand on its own feet is worthless.
Actually, it’s worse than worthless because that money would be better spent on any number of other very urgent needs, like healthcare, national defense or the Social Security funding.
And here’s the dirty secret that nobody talks about.
There is no ‘Climate Emergency’. We all know that it’s a hoax.
The real reason for Green Energy is because like everything else, liberals don’t trust anything that they don’t control.
They view Big Oil and Big Gas as competitors for power, which liberals absolutely cannot abide.
The aim of Green Energy is eliminate all forms of energy that these governments don’t control, giving the ‘Liberal World Order’ (Biden’s words) control over energy.
In the past 50 or 60 years these anti American turds have taken over the media, education, healthcare, the military, and anything of value that has power or influence.
If they get hold of energy, it will be just like healthcare.
They will decide who deserves electricity, and they will ration it just like they do everything else.
Yet another reason to vote Trump in November, to put a stop to this massive swindle.

First we have to understand what the climate BS means to the left in general and the rats specifically. It is the key to everything. Unlimited power, control and funding. They will use it to inflict misery and dependence on everyone but the ruling class.
That’s exactly the right term - “climate world” - because they inhabit an alternate reality.
Trump should sign an executive order that 1/2 of all research grants be allocated to studies that are aimed at climate change propose that global warming is a natural phenomenon.
If he did we had better wear our rain coats because heads would explode in Washington.
