She’s a damn quitter. I don’t see how people celebrate her after how she quit last olympics.

I don’t see how people celebrate her after how she quit last olympics.Considering how it's unlikely that you have never spent your entire life working just to get to olympian level, I don't think you're in any position to judge her.
Her sport is just as much mental as it is physical. She got the yips, and with that, she was finished for those games.
Look up Steve Sax, Chuck Knoblauch, and more famously, Ian Baker Finch, who walked away from the PGA after missing 32 consecutive cuts as a result of the yips.

I haven't watched the Olympics in years, and won't, but I remember her withdrawing from the team event in 2021 in Tokyo. She underperformed and couldn't handle it mentally, and let the rest of the team down.

She’s a damn quitter. I don’t see how people celebrate her after how she quit last olympics. In 2020 she had the "twisties" which is fairly common and still ended up winning 2 medals. This was also around the time that doctor was exposed for sexually assaulting many women including Simone.
And at least she celebrates being an American as shown below after her second gold in Paris:
