From my own research, neither India or Jaimaca conferred citizenship at birth unless the parents requested it. No reports suggest this happened, the linked article doesn't offer that detail.
It seems that Kamala Harris was given US citizenship at birth and no others.
Neither parent was a US citizen, her mom was already fighting to stay, and was ultimately years latered deported to Canada, taking Kamala with her as a single mom. Mom later became a Canadian citizen. Kamala returned to the US for college.
No one seems to have standing to get the Supreme Court to clarify the two main interpretations of the Constitution, so probably no solution there. Maybe Trump could challenge but doubtful it was get heard in time or at all.
The second link in Post 2 by John S Mosby is more informative. Thank you John.
Reno- I just did a cut/paste copy of the full page link of Mr. Loudon. Who is a phenomenal New Zealand journalist and happy muckraker like something out of World War II (covering say... Stalin, yikes!).
BTW in re: Stalin, was deep in the biz world when a major book “Stalin: In the Court of the Red Tsar” came out. Writer is Martin Seebag-Montefiore, winner that year of British History Writer’s award (sic). Really researched and spoke personally with surviving people of Stalin’s victim circle. It is a useful tool (if one can get past all of the horrific political and population murder- because Stalin felt that any problems in he Soviet Union could be solved by murdering enough of the right people. Like, say oh— 350,000 Poles and the entire Polish Officer’s Corps in the Katyn Forest!.
Useful in watching how the “progressive” Communists operate within the demonrat party. Selecting a presidential candidate without even 1 primary delegate vote from this or the election before— that is new ground. And should not happen- criminal.
