Today is the day I am officially done with Clay Travis. He sounded like the woman hit by the tranny in the Olympics. I miss Rush very much when these pretenders sound like surrender monkey Frenchmen.
Rush could tell us where the puck was going and broadcast it every day. I’m convinced his insights about the Left’s behavior and Democrats particularly made them tread more carefully and covertly.
With Rush gone, they march ahead in full daylight. They don’t bother to hide what they’re doing because the other talkers are so easily distracted with other things.
He is pitiful. Spend most of the show promoting themsrlves.
I think at the time he had both health and legal issues that kept him busy as well.
Exactly. He has earned the right to engage with anybody in the effort to reach everbody and for this person to suggest he duck Any engagement is reckless imo

The closest we will come to having another Rush is by having AI learn from 30 years of Rush’s on air pontifications and then comment on today’s events in his voice. It’s possible but someone has to make it happen.

I can tolerate Buck better than Clay, who’s just a jocksniffer, and not very articulate for a lawyer and somebody who gets paid to talk. I don’t really question their conservative bona fides too much, but I don’t listen every day so I might have missed something.
What aggravates me about them is is they seem to be more interested in talking to each other instead of to the audience. Also, they don’t respect their callers the way Rush did. Rush had ultimate respect for his callers and had actual conversations with them. This was due in large part to his genuine curiosity and interest in others.
After I retired he was my daily lunch companion for more than 10 years. I miss him so much.

Clay was hoping Biden would hold his own with Trump so it would be a Trump/Biden rematch. I was hoping Trump would destroy Biden so the world would wake up to who the Left in the US really are.
I was done with Travis a loooong time ago. He’s almost as redundant as Sean Vannity.

Seriously....these guys are greenhorns. Rush had decades to perfect his craft. Only Paul Harvey compared to Rush as a consistent daily voice of reason.
The good thing is talk radio has tons of conservative voices
all over the place.

I agree. used to listen to Buck’s show at night driving home, He was okay. I really like M. Berry and J. Kelly, my wife says that its my ADHD tendencies because they hop around on stuff and I find it easy to follow them and not be bored.
I listen to the Mark Davis podcast nearly every day. Really like the guy. By far, his best sub is Paul Gleiser.
He’s an old Democrat. Voted for Obama.
