The Department of the Treasury and the Department of Homeland Security both fall under the executive branch.

I think something in my mind may have gotten confused a number of years back. I did not believe that DHS was under Executive.

I had thought that under the GW crap post-9/11 it was just a federal bureaucracy which pulled agencies under its umbrella.

I’ll look into it this weekend. It’s been years since I looked at the bureaucracy structure...clearly I have some things to clarify for my own mind.
