Hyper-sonic missiles? Not going to hit a moving target. Plus the HE warhead is not going to sink a CVN. If they shoot a nuke first then all bets are off. No possibility of a nuclear first strike. So that is out too.

You don’t have to sink a carrier to disable it. When disabled, they become sitting ducks. Check it out in World War 2.
