July 15 expert forensic analysis:
The first three shots were consistent with alleged weapon A, the next five were consistent with alleged weapon B, and the final “acoustic impulse” was emitted by a possible weapon C, per audio analysis by Catalin Grigoras, director of the National Center for Media Forensics at the University of Colorado in Denver, and Cole Whitecotton, Senior Professional Research Associate at the same institution.
Forensic analysis suggests that at least two weapons were fired at the rally — including at least one apparently fired as part of the response by law enforcement officials. The first eight shots were consistent with the alleged weapon and the final two shots were emitted by one or two “same or similar” weapon, per audio analysis by Catalin Grigoras, director of the National Center for Media Forensics at the University of Colorado in Denver, and Cole Whitecotton, a senior professional research associate at the same institution.
Kamala was never called the border czar and no expert ever said the first three shots came from weapon A and the next five shots from weapon B and the final emmitted by a possible weapon C.
How can that be if eight shell casings were found on the roof? Could someone be bending the truth? Again?
I listened over and over.
Shooter fired a 3 round burst, then a 5 shot burst firing more rapidly.
The next report was from a different weapon and that sound difference was notable.
I also noted that the last weapon report would have put the round in the shooters head about the same time you could hear the shooters last report.
