UH-OH!
I know they have lost conflicts.
What is unique, IMHO, is the death toll they are willing to endure before they make a change. No other country watches so many die, before anything is done.
“What is unique, IMHO, is the death toll they are willing to endure before they make a change”
I totally agree their Russian citizens suffering and death is just collateral damage for the supreme powers that be.
Seems like inappropriate public behavior with children is not limited to the Creepy Kremlin KGB Col.
Our own creepy leader has his moments too...
What's most curious is how eagerly our allegedly "pro-Americans" jump to defend Russkiy Mirkovich against any and all disparagements.
You must learn to walk and chew gum at the same time.
The US has always fought multi-front wars, and Cold War II will be no exception.
Get over your fear and trembling, elect a leader worthy of the name (Mr. Trump), and in due time everything else will be taken care of for the better.
Naw... not really in every case.
How long can Vlad the Invader keep his Russkiy Mir myths alive and motivating Russians today?
Nobody yet knows, but there are already plenty of signs of weakness and cracks in Russian economic and social cohesiveness.
Those signs are seemingly enough to worry our current Democrat administration enough to make them slow-roll aid to Ukraine so as not to cause a sudden collapse of Russia, as was seen in Russia's previous losing wars.
Obviously, I disagree, however I am still most interested to learn the name of the theological school you attended which gave you the knowledge and authority to pass judgments on which current public figures may or may not appropriately be compared to the Old Testament's King David?
It seems to me that Vlad the Invader is a perfect analogy for the Philistine biblical monster Goliath, while Ukraine's Pres. Zelenskyy is a reasonable facsimile of Israel's King David.
But somehow your extensive theological training has reversed those roles, and I'd be curious to learn exactly how that happened.

The slow roll of aid, has resulted in more deaths of just simple people and farmers. I don’t understand the concept of ‘managed’ war. Sherman-”War should be terrible, the more terrible it is the quicker its over with”.
Biden could have easily given enough airpower to Ukraine such that last years offensive would have been effective enough to regain it’s territory. Putin was stupid to invade, and the denial of airpower by Biden was stupid.
You are insane if you think a war overseas is more important than defending ourselves in America first.

Ukraine has already carried out its first combat missions with F-16s following the long-awaited arrival of the American-made fighters, The Telegraph reports.
According to the publication, modern military aircraft have so far been used only for “air defense”. A representative of the Ukrainian Air Force “did not deny this”.
Ukraine is expected to receive 79 F-16 fighters from Belgium, Denmark, Norway and the Netherlands. Oleksiy Neizhpapa, commander of the Ukrainian Navy, said the planes would help challenge Russia’s “total dominance” in the skies over the Black Sea. But Western aviation experts warn that the warplanes will not be something that will ensure victory for the Ukrainians.
Earlier media reports said that only six Ukrainian pilots had qualified to fly the F-16, meaning they would only be able to fly a limited number of sorties per day. There are also suggestions that the planes would be limited to an air defense role due to the threat posed by Russian anti-aircraft missile systems located closer to the front lines.
Recall, on July 31, Bloomberg reported that the first F-16 fighters had already arrived in Ukraine. This was also confirmed by the AP. It is not known exactly how many aircraft were delivered in the first tranche or by which countries.
White House National Security Council spokesman John Kirby refused to confirm that the United States had transferred its F-16 fighters to Ukraine. At the same time, it was noted that the United States has no doubt that Kiev will be able to begin using the F-16 fighters received from the West by the end of the summer. Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis said that Ukraine has already received the first batch of F-16 fighter jets as part of Western defense aid. The minister noted that such support in the form of delivering these long-awaited aircraft to the Ukrainian side seemed impossible before.
“F-16s in Ukraine. Another impossible turned out to be totally possible,” Landsbergis stated in his post.
Meanwhile, a US official told Reuters on the condition of anonymity that the delivery of the fighter jets has been completed. However, it remains unclear how many jets have been provided to Ukraine in the first batch and from which countries.
The total combat losses from Russian invasion from 24.02.22 to 02.08.24 are approximately:
• personnel ‒ about 580,590 (+1,100) persons,
• tanks ‒ 8402 (+3) units,
• armored combat vehicles ‒ 16211 (+8) units,
• artillery systems – 16161 (+42) units,
• MLRS – 1134 (+2) units,
• air defense equipment ‒ 907 (+0) units,
• aircraft - 363 (+0) units,
• helicopters - 326 (+0) units,
• UAV of operational-tactical level - 13005 (+37),
• cruise missiles ‒ 2407 (+0),
• ships/boats ‒ 28 (+0) units,
• submarines - 1 (+0) units,
• automotive equipment and tank trucks - 21,872 (+56) units,
• special equipment ‒ 2719 (+6)

In every war we have to fight on multiple fronts simultaneously.
Cold War III is no exception.
Why is that so hard for you to grasp?
