As Venezuela Votes, Russia Will Be Watching

It's half a world away from Moscow, but Venezuela's presidential election could be a nail-biter for the Kremlin.

Russian President Vladimir Putin may be watching closely when Venezuelans vote in the July 28 election, which pits authoritarian Kremlin ally Nicolas Maduro against the leader of an opposition group advocating for democracy and capitalism.

Ahead of the vote, Maduro was trailing in opinion polls by a wide margin to Edmundo Gonzalez, a 74-year-old former diplomat, as Venezuelans tire of a leader who has presided over deepening poverty and economic troubles during his 11-year rule.

Not with their rigged voting machines. Otherwise, Biden would be out on his can.

There, fixed it.

I think the Cubans actually run Venezuela’s elections, as they do so many of the governments functions.

While you're getting your knickers in a knot over this, French dictator Macron has found a way to remain in office despite losing his reelection bid.

And, let's not forget, Zelensky cancelled elections so he could remain in power.

Your hypocrisy is on the same level as Democrats.

I’m far more concerned your globalist buddies don’t find a way to rig the 2024 election like they rigged the 2020 election, all so they can keep the proxy war in Ukraine going and the “liberal world order” alive.

I’ve known many Venezuelans here and in Colombia. Knew one that was shot in Caracus.
The people had their chance when Trump was in office. Peru, Colombia and the US were ready militarily but at the last moment the Venezuelan opposition fell apart.

“Maduro was trailing in opinion polls by a wide margin”

Maybe he signed up for the Democrat’s “How to Steal Elections” class.

If Maduro loses does that mean there is one less country you want to invade?

Donald Trump Says Joe Biden’s Remarks Gave Russia the ‘Green Light’ on Ukraine

Trump told Fox host Sean Hannity: “Really what he said last night when he said, ‘They may go in, they will go in,’ and he talked about a minor incursion. I said, ‘I don’t believe he said that,’ because that’s like giving them, they use the term ‘green light.’ He was green-lighted.”

He added that the president of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, “could not believe what he heard. He couldn’t believe what he heard, and I couldn’t believe what — it’s whether you are for strong stoppage or not, you’re really telling them ‘You might as well go in.’”

Zelensky tweeted on Thursday that “there are no minor incursions.”

Biden did given Ukraine the green light by authorizing an offensive in Donetsk and Lugansk right before the war started against the true victims of the Maiden coup -- the ethnic Russian population..

The Biden regime, stupidly, teased NATO membership for Ukraine, refused to consider Russia's security concerns and, along with Boris Johnson, killed a peace deal between Ukraine and Russia in Turkey in March of 2022.

Rewriting history isn't going to work here.

Trump blasts Biden over Russia-Ukraine gaffe

Former President Donald Trump slammed President Biden on Thursday for allegedly giving Russia the “green light” to invade Ukraine during his chaotic press conference — and suggested something wasn’t “normal” with the commander-in-chief.

“When he said ‘they may go in, they will go in,’ and he talks about a ‘minor incursion,’ I sort of said, ‘I don’t believe he said that,’ because that’s giving the green light,” Trump told Fox News’ Sean Hannity during a wide-ranging interview.

“He really told them to go in,” Trump added. “I think this is a whole different ball game right now.”
