Biden is a hereditary Catholic. Just as secular Jews, neither is "devout" let alone a believer. For Catholics it is something like the Elks Club. Pelosi is the same. Their brand of Catholicism is something they are born into without the need to seriously assent to the rules and dogmas of that faith.
