While the term “Christian” is widely used today to describe followers of Jesus Christ, it is unclear whether the early Christians actually used this term to describe themselves. The word “Christian” only appears three times in the New Testament, and in each instance, it is used by non-Christians to refer to the followers of Jesus.

I watched the video AND TRUMP SAID HE WAS CHRISTIAN.
It is outrageous this garbage is allowed here.
I just listened to it over and over.
I do NOT believe he said “not”.
I heard, with a frog in his throat or a mis-forming of the words, “I’m a Christian”.
Listen again with THIS in mind NOT the salacious attempt to make it seem he said “I’m not a Christian”
“I’m a Christian”.
“I’m a Christian”.
“I’m a Christian”.
“I’m a Christian”.
I think ini the sense that he’s a sinner. Didn’t take this as him saying that he’s a non-believer.....but ask him, don’t ask me.
What nonsense. Even if he isn’t a Christian, he’d still say he was. It would be stupid to say otherwise, and he knows that. They are trying to hypnotize us into believing untrue things.
I’ve now listened several times and I’m still get the ‘I’m not’. I still figure he simply misspoke as he frequently talks about religion and his faith.
Too bad George Steponallofus wasn’t there to save the day, a la Obama and his “Muslim faith” — oops, “Christian faith.”
“He conspicuously declined to recite the Nicene Creed.”
I’ve been a born-again Christian since I was 8 years old. The church I go to now does the Nicene Creed, and I won’t do it, either.
It may be that our understanding or our hearing is different. I notice that each may hear something opposite. That is why some can not get the truth or your truth is not my truth. We need an interpreter and that comes from God or another source. I think Epthesan 6:12 comes into play also.
Is a spiritual thing.
I don’t care.
Oh, have no fear.
I trust President Trump over the enemedia any day of the week.
He said “I’m a Christian,” with his hand over his heart. Might not have been completely clear.
I like this reply, that I read on Truth Social ...
“Slow the playback speed down to 75% and you’ll likely hear that he said “I’m a Christian”. His enunciation wasn’t super tight, but certainly understandable considering all that he’s be put through for the past eight years, and with heavy emphasis on what they’ve done to him just in the past six months. Let’s not help the other side.”
Hear, hear. ✝️
But he didn’t say that. Do you believe he’s a Christian when he says he is?
See 33.
Are you saying that Pres Trump actually said he is NOT a Christian?
Again, please read #33.
Honestly, it doesn’t matter to me if said he wasn’t a Christian, though I think in the video it’s not clear to me that’s what he said. He’s said he was Presbyterian before, so that’s pretty clear. God will use who He wants for His good. Our job is to figure out who that is and vote accordingly. If you’ve read your Bible, it’s pretty easy to figure out who governs more closely to biblical values. We’re not voting for Pope here.
In the first place, he did not say I am not a Christian.
So why this thread?
He said I’M A CHRISTIAN
Yes correct. It’s shameful that people post this crap without knowing what was really said and spread false rumors
I think Trump has professed his Christianity enough already. He attends church as often as half of us do which is major holidays. He goes to the Presbyterian church.
Mike Pence can’t profess his Christian faith loud enough or often enough and he’s rotten to the core.
