Early in his first term, Bill Clinton cleaned out the DOJ. The mockingbirds don't like to advertise that much, or equivocate when they do talk about it.
That's why you get occasional pearl clutching mentioning Trump's "Schedule F", because the Uniparty/Deep State knows that is where they can gum up the works or implement policies counter to the will of the people (although the Loper Bright Enterprises v. Raimondo decision sets a foundation to halt that, if you have a DOJ with the will to enforce it, along with state AGs).
