From day one I said the worst possible outcome would be a slow attritional battle, killing off their best (on both sides) , then a Ukr loss.
Only deep state and China (or are they the same?) will gain from this in the long run. Not Russia, 50 years ago sure. Their birth rate is too low now to re-populate their country and Ukraine with Slavs.
Notice I said with Slavs, the woke western deep state would love to import more Islamists and 3rd worlders to do the job.
There is still hope for Russia to recover its population, if it repents and embraces Christianity Orthodox once again.
That’s my hope for Russia.
Corruption makes a country weak - makes the people unwilling to defend their homeland. One of the first things Zelenskyy did was make it against the law for military aged men to leave the country. That really say it all. This is a war the 'elties' want and besides we have better ways to spend our money and time.
