CV NEWS FEED // Authorities recently arrested and charged for possessing child pornography a well-known animator who has worked for both Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon. The married man – whose far-left views were public – was later released from custody.
Journalist Andy Ngo wrote on X (formerly Twitter) Sunday that children’s cartoonist Kyle Adam Carrozza “is accused of having hundreds of child s—x abuse content.”
“According to jail records, he was released without bail on the felony charges,” Ngo added.
Ngo further noted that according to archived social media posts made by Carrozza, it is apparent that the animator “is a leftist who is a big Black Lives Matter supporter.” However, “[a]fter release from jail, [Carrozza] deleted his social media and took down his website.”
In his X bio, Carrozza included the pronouns “he/him.” This is a practice widely employed by people on the political left to show they support the LGBTQ movement and, in particular, “transgender” ideology.
Carrozza is perhaps best known for creating the 2010s Cartoon Network series “Mighty Magiswords” and voicing the majority of its characters. The show was geared towards children as young as seven years old.

Carrozza’s June arrest on two counts of child pornography possession “was made by the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force,” reported Sportskeeda:
The show creator has been charged under California penal code 311.11(a) and 311.11(c), where individuals get booked for knowingly possessing at least 12 videos or 600 images of explicit children’s content.
Sportskeeda’s report also included a picture of the Burbank Police Department’s arrest log of Carrozza.
The ex-cartoonist’s IMBD page shows that in addition to “Mighty Magiswords” he has worked as an animator on “The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water,” released in 2015.
For ten years, Carrozza has been married to fellow animator Lindsay Marie Smith-Carrozza.
Per IMDB, Smith-Carrozza had worked on “Mighty Magiswords” with her husband before moving on to work in the art department of the Hulu animated series “Solar Opposites” – a show intended for an adult audience.
Cartoon Network has recently come under scrutiny for its embrace of the LGBTQ movement.
CatholicVote reported in April:
On Easter Sunday, Cartoon Network declared its support for “Transgender Day of Visibility” on social media.
The popular channel – which airs several shows for children – did not acknowledge Easter.
Let’s put Kyle in the general population. He’ll be super popular there.
Kyle: "Was that wrong?"
Leftist.
Racist.
Pedophile.
I’m so shocked.
This is my shocked face.
See how shocked I am ...
Is that the same as sex abuse content?
He likes sex and probably is addicted to it, so yes, he can get all the sex he wants in prison...
Anyone who has to announce their pronouns has something wrong with them.
Anyone surprised? I’d say the wife will be going down as well....freaks.
Yes I see how shocked.
You did say you were shocked, correct?
I’m shocked too. I’m shocked that you’re shocked.
