The larger we get, the more Vitamin C we may need.

Just an observation...Fat people don’t care about vitamins, exercise or anything else related to good health.
If they did, they wouldn’t be fat.

Many overeat for mental issues too.
If they could address them that would help them out.

I live in an area where there is a large Amish/Mennonite population.
Not many people work harder than they do...and guess what? None of them are fatties.

I weigh 112 and gave been taking vitamin C every morning for the last 40 years.
My very nice friend is overweight and eats nothing but junk food. I’m giving him a bottle of 1,500 mg Vitamin C tablets because that’s really too much for me. 500 mg is enough.
And btw, my MD prescribes my vitamins (I take more than vitamin C), making them deductible med expenses. Plus, he didn’t think I needed a covid vax because he knows I have an immune system.

Actually extra cheeseburger (without the bun) and skip the orange.
That is how you will lose weight.

Your doctor is a rarity in the world of medicine. The MDs I’ve dealt with over the years don’t know squat about nutrition. I’ve found that ODs are more informed.
I’ve taken vitamins and supplements most of my life as well and walk about 3 miles a day with my dogs. I challenge my immune system by walking in all types of weather...except when it’s extremely hot and humid. I don’t want to stress out my dogs.
No covid, flu or pneumonia shots for me.
PS The latest addition to my health regime is R-Lipoic Acid which has just about cured the peripheral nephropathy in my legs and feet. I’ve been taking it since 12/23. It took about 6 weeks to kick in and now I can sleep through the night.

A newer post is saying vitamin C causes weight gain. So, which is it?

I learned something interesting about Vit C recently that I didn’t know.
Vit C is what regulates how much iron you can absorb from the foods you eat. So if your Vit C is low, you are not getting all the iron your body should be getting.
