Amazon Prime Video said any similarities to real-world events were purely coincidental.
Amazon Prime Video has added a disclaimer to "The Boys" season finale condemning political violence following the assassination attempt against former President Trump.
"The season finale of 'The Boys' contains scenes of fictional political violence, which some viewers may find disturbing, especially in light of the injuries and tragic loss of life sustained during the assassination attempt on former President Trump," the disclaimer begins.
Prime Video noted that the newest season of the violent, superhero satire was filmed in 2023 and any similarities to real-world events are "coincidental and unintentional."
"Amazon, Sony Picture Television and the producers of 'The Boys' reject, in the strongest terms, real-world violence of any kind," the disclaimer concludes

Thank you very much and God bless you.
Anybody have a different opinion.
Amazon wants to continue to stoke political violence but don’t want to be held accountable for the crazies they target when they actually do it
If someone has a blur between real life and a cartoon, they are already triggered and a cartoon isnt going to make them go shoot someone, they already have it in them.
I watch it. Veers into complete debauchery but this season was based on “MAGA” types being evil, of course, and attempting to assassinate the fictional President.
Out of respect, Vaughn Meader no longer did his JFK impersonations after he was assassinated.

I still have that record.
I've watched it from the beginning. Karl Urban is one of my favorites. I take it as fantasy entertainment. Nothing more than any of the Marvel or DC characters. Gen V is an offshoot of The Boys. I liked that too. It's been renewed for a second season as The Boys has been renewed for a fifth season.
I watched some of the first season. Crap. Vulgar crap. One of them made a girl give him a BJ as part of their “initiation”. This is entertainment?
When I am elected King (lol) I will outlaw “super hero” movies.
The Boys had been entertaining. This season truly vile and disgusting. The director admits the villain is Trump, and he literally says “F you” if you don’t like the woke message.
The most ridiculous was taking the guy who has a hot girlfriend, and putting him in a gay sex relationship.
And the most villainous thing done by the bad guys was publicizing the heroine’s abortion, cause you know it’s so sweet that a young couple aborted their baby.
Show has become really disgusting.
Boys had been great, Karl Urban is great. Pretty revolting lately. The gay thing was insulting.
They appear to be making homelander a parody of Trump.🤔
No worries...the lawyers, judges and juries (AKA just us) are all on THEIR side.
It’s an enjoyable, albeit very dark, graphic, and somewhat nasty show.
Basically, what people without morals who have superpowers would do to ordinary people.
An evil corporation, using Nazi science, creates super people.
Government and societal corruption.
The “boys” are ordinary people (ex military, spooks, and one IT guy whose finance was killed by a superhero while the superhero was high) that go after the worst of the worst of the supes. Government people eventually join along with superpowered people who are not horrible.
The boys’ methods on getting rid of the supes is largely amoral. People are used and killed.
Really only the IT guy is decent, which turns out to be the real superpower in a roundabout way.
Basically, a far more realistic Marvel show, because it deals with greed and human nature and corrupt government.
It’s live action based on a comic. (There was a brief side episodes that were animated.)
I had a hunch Frenchie was bi-sexual to begin with, so it wasn't a surprise to me. The best part of streaming is that you can fast-forward through those segments, which I do. I don't even care to watch sex scenes between men and women anymore, and fast-forward through those too. It's unfortunate that there is so much same-sex crap in programs these days. I started watching the new Netflix series titled "Eric" with Benjamin Cumberbatch, but they threw in a gay black cop in the first episode, and I said "no thanks." If the creators find it necessary to throw that crap in my face in the first episode...I'll stop watching it, and take it out of my queue.
I think the fourth season of The Boys has been the craziest so far...and most gory. The series wouldn't be the same without Billy Butcher. I hope they find a cure for his illness before the next season rolls around.
We had that album. I was a sophomore in high school when JFK was assassinated. As I look back now, I was dumb and naive as a 16 year old to believe that my government wouldn’t have murdered a President. If I’m not mistaken, when JFK was asked about Vaughn Meader’s impersonation of him, I believe he said he thought he sounded more like Bobby.
Ah, the virus will kill his V tumor.
The flying attack sheep was a bit much. Reminded me of the Rabbit of Caerbannog in Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
