It is such a shame that we have become such a sue happy society, I owned restaurants for 30+ years and NEVER had a lawsuit, I would NEVER get into that business today NEVER!!
My dad ran diners and restaurants from the time he was thirty until he got tired of it at eighty-four. Never had a problem, either! But... he never served coffee that was pushing 190 degrees either (that was the famous McDonald’s lawsuit) or anything that was so hot that, if spilled, it resulted in injury requiring medical treatment. I imagine you didn’t either! Nowadays, well, I think of folks working these places and expect things to be done wrong. Like this.
