In a crime investigation the first question is “Who benefits?”.
All I can say is the Butler shoot out is getting very complicated very fast.
First off, we have data from Trumps podium mic as kind of a master recording, which is kind of unprecedented. This a very high fidelity microphone recording equally high quality, high resolution digital audio traces.
We also have possibly hundreds of cell phone audio/video recording of the event.
Much of this data is very precisely time stamped and geo located to within a few feet.
Digital filtering can clean up the background noise. With a more sophisticated forensic analysis of multiple recordings from different locations it should be possible to identify the number of weapons used , the locations of those weapons and the number of shots fired.
We also have the rifles used by the shooter and all of the SS and Police marksmen along with the ammo that they used to obtain sound signatures from each weapon for forensic analysis
Yep. That’s two different sounding shot reports -— the ones from the shooter, and the one from the sniper who took him out. It doesn’t take a genius to figure that out. Now if there were THREE different sounding shot reports, then we’d have a problem.
Wouldn't it be great if the FBI did not corrupt the crime scene? ...if there was a true forensic analysis of all evidence?
Trump on stage was at about the height of the round that hit the right side of the stage from Crook. There were sounds of three distinct rifle reports. Crooks and likely two CS shooters. The fist Counter Sniper sound is semi auto fire in the direction of Crooks to suppress his fire. These do not hit Crooks. While fire suppression is applied the second CS acquires his target precisely for the lights out kill shot and that is the last shot. I do not believe there was a second assassin as implied in the video coming from the inside of the building supposedly occupied by SS tactical team. Others believe someone was on top of the water tower another 200 meters in back of Crooks position. I am hoping the investigation shows that the first burst of fire from CS was just quick return fire in Crooks direction to suppress him and that that initial CS SS officer did not have sufficient time to scope out a precise shot while his partner was doing that simultaneously.

As I counted the shots (eight), there were (about) three that came from the Secret Service sharp shooters, nearby, that ended Crooks’ life. They did sound different.
According to the video the guy that got hit would have been 13 feet higher than Trump.
Just one shooter. 1st volley was the criminal the rest were our guys. 223’s by shooter and sounded like 308’s that killed. Salena Zito was right in front of Trump. Knows guns. Said two different calibers.
And it wasn’t Oswald who killed the policeman later?
It hit the rail after wounding the guy up and to Trump’s left

My view on the investigations:
Warren Commission—blatant lying and cover up
Garrison—found some interesting things and several good witnesses ended up dead. Moved the ball down the field a bit.
Congress in the 1970s—tied the Mob and the CIA—definitely established conspiracy and multiple shooters. Moved the ball down the field a bit further.
Now I get controversial....next important piece was a book by Seymour Hersch written in 1991:

This was not about the JFK assassination at all—but Hersch did not realize what he had found.
Another motive for the assassination—and new players.

Next—the drip drip drip of the JFK assassination files in recent years—lots of interesting detail totally ignored by the mass media.
Just one example—we now know that Oswald had a rock solid alibi—he was on the second floor getting change from a co worker when the shots rang out.
We still don’t have all the pieces of the puzzle—but a lot of the gaps have been closed....
I do not profess to be an expert on the Tippett killing—have not investigated it so have no opinion either way.
At this point we know for certain Oswald did not kill JFK—for me that is the critical point.
Unless LEO on the ground fired using 9mm towards the perp. Three different sound waves. But, will we ever get the truth?
There's a big logical leap here.
Even if there were more than one gun firing, that does not mean there were multiple shooters firing at "Trump & Crowd". Police and SS fired back. Their shots would be recorded as well.
At this point we don't know enough to say which shots are which on the recordings, but that doesn't justify jumping to conclusions.
Apparently that's not the one that took out Crooks.
