A record number of Americans believe that former President Donald Trump is going to beat President Joe Biden in November.
In a poll released Wednesday by The Economist and YouGov, 49 percent of U.S. adults said that they think Trump would win the 2024 presidential election with him as the Republican nominee and Biden as the Democrats' pick.
A spokesperson for YouGov confirmed with Newsweek that the recent poll result is the highest number of support Trump has received when compared to past surveys where participants were asked who they viewed as the likely next president. Last week's poll found that 48 percent of adults anticipated that Trump would be reelected, while 29 percent picked Biden.
In the last survey conducted by the Economist/YouGov before the June 27 presidential debate, 41 percent of participants said they believed Trump would win, compared to the 32 percent who selected Biden.

The question is what Democrat? Let’s say you’re a potential candidate. Do you waste your opportunity against Trump in 2024 or do you spend a few years getting ready for your effort in 2028, figuring winning in 2028 would be easier than trying to beat Trump?
Wonder if any Dem in 2024 is the sacrificial lamb and the true purpose of getting Biden out is to salvage what they can in down-ticket races. If Biden stays, he makes every Dem candidate a tougher race to win?

May as well put ‘DS’ after their name. Right after they arrive in Washington the process of turning them into representatives for the Deep State begins, regardless of the states they come from or the parties they belong to. The Swamp is an intoxicating place.
There’s an old saying “to get along, go along”. Nowhere is that more true than in DC. I have to admit to not believing this could happen because going against the party’s ingrained culture and RINO infestation seemed like a very heavy lift. But Trump did it. An incredible accomplishment. But we cannot forget that it didn’t take the party long to throw away Ronald Regan’s playbook and principles either.
The rinos are still there, now they have to be forever dismissed.
