A lot of actors found their careers damaged by their attacks on politicians like Bush. Producers won’t hire actors who are unpopular and/or antagonize large swaths of the potential audience. Robbins was one. It might sound good in the Hollywood Echo Chamber to viciously attack the President. It doesn’t work out so well for ticket sales. A actor who antagonizes 1/2 of the electorate might find himself out of work. Musicians too. That that dumb broad from the Dixie chicks.
