In ‘68, I moved to Hollywood to transfer to UCLA from UofCincy and found a job with a global oil research company w/corp office also in Hollywood.
After 4 years, they moved to Galveston and offered me a position and free tuition at Rice.
I came *that* close to going with them...but returned to Ohio.
