I’ll grant it isn’t good timing and kind of tacky, but I still think the implication is that “our side” needs to practice because it could get hot. It doesn’t come across as anti-Trump in anyway to me.

I don’t see it that way. ‘Our Side’ took out the shooter, finally; the shooter is the one who failed to take out the obviously intended target.
This was unnecessary and in very poor taste. It’s also the kind of crap that leftists use to stain everyone who shoots or supports the 2nd amendment.
