The media have entertained the fond illusion that they can be as partisan as they like and stay above it all, casting judgments down from the clouds and watching their inferiors below dance to their information control tunes. These are not, for the most part, very intelligent individuals but they've found a comfortable and safe vantage point devoid of responsibility or accountability. Safe until it isn't.
These should be grateful that the object of their derision didn't get killed on Saturday and they'd better pray for his safety. He's keeping us from them.
