I think that there are a great deal of assumptions in that version of the story that we dont really know the answer to yet if we ever will. Much of that seems to be unproven conjecture.
Maybe its just me but I dont think carrying a firearm or anything that looks like it could have a firearm woud be a good idea around this many armed personnel. Its not like I have a crystal ball to know how many there are going to be or how they are stationed.

You put someone in the local agency 10 years ago? Thats really playing the long game. That just doesnt seem reasonable.
And I, intending to be a sniper, could rely on that? Thats kind of a stretch. Just throw my rifle into my guitar case and wander in? He wasnt carrying it openly, it was in “some kind of case” according to reports. If he was carrying a ladder people would assume that the box he had in his hand was screws or something. All kinds of tools come in cases, that isnt weird either. Carrying a ladder and a case big enough to put a rifle in certainly would draw attention. That woud be one hell of a drill set.
Some people are saying he put it in the car and just drove it in. Well, security around the SS perimeter was awfully lax but that doesnt seem like something you could plan in advance right? That SS is just going to cut a big chunk out of the cheesewheel that is their perimeter so I can drive behind and climb up? Ill wait for the footage before believing that because that is impossible to believe that that would be someones plan.
I would have gone earlier and set things up for myself so that Im not drawing extra attention to myself. That would have been a lot easier too if I had a friend or relative that worked there that also hates Trump.
Yes, I saw the story that he had come and gone 3 times but that does seem like quite a coincidence that things were this bad and a kid was able to make up a plan just that morning.
I really want to see some footage of him. Everything is him on the roof so far, I want to see all this walking/driving/carrying/climbing.
Your questions about walking/driving /carrying remind me that it’s not clear how much advance time there was knowing when Trump was going to have the rally? He can set up a rally very quickly but if the kid had 3-4 days to work with he could have done a lot of “packing.” And it’s not clear at all whether the kid actually knew the area since it seems he didn’t work near there.
