Kind of.. only in the West are foreign gods or even atheist ones given such free range and welcome that now “Christians” invoke their foreign meditations over their gatherings.
Open minded convention planners, in such a time with devil and demons swirling, may have been so open that their brains fell out.
To willfully include anti-Christ and
non-Christian invocations over their own gatherings was a heady choice for sure, but a bridge too far.
Im not saying that the work of Practical convention political business and Republican Party platforming should ever look like a tent revival, but, “Come on, man”. America’s post-Christian conditioning is the leading cause of our obscene decline.

Well said.
Yes, we have freedom of religion, but this is a Christian nation. To accept/allow foreign prayers publicly at the seat of government at any level may not be pleasing to the God of Abraham, Issac and Joseph. it is after all, His blessings that will allow our country to thrive.
I may add at risk of having bricks thrown at me, that the Living God is way more than just the feel good, please accept us, catch all phrase of “supreme being”.
God clearly states in the Bible who He is and we accept Him on His terms or it’s really not accepting Him at all.
