When the shots rang out at Dealey Plaza dozens of witnesses heard shots whizzing over their heads and past their ears.

When the shooting stopped they turned around and ran up the grassy knoll to confront the shooters.

They were greeted by men in suits who said they were Secret Service and showed Secret Service IDs to the citizens. The Secret Service men explained: “Everything is under control up here. This is a secure area.”

We now know there were no Secret Service agents at the top of the grassy knoll that day.

The Deep State plays dirty.

I could see being cautious if that went up thirty seconds after the shooting. Any later and it’s just the Post being @ssholes.

Yeah, I caught the early dismissals - “Trump has minor injury at rally”, that sort of thing. The spin machine was embarrassingly visible from the git-go, were the people in it capable of embarrassment.

normal confusion at the beginning but they finally figured it out.

As soon as it happened I pulled up CNN in a window and kept refreshing to see how their story evolved. Sort of like the initial chaotic coverage of 9/11 exhausting innocuous theories first before finally stating it was nefarious.

I think both titles were printed INSTEAD of anything that mentioned shooting. So ‘Trump falls’ was supposed to hide the fact that someone shot at him. THey’d like to pretend Trump just stumbled like Biden, instead of being shot at like JFK and Reagan.
