DURING the election the courts tell injured parties “You haven’t shown harm.”
AFTER the election the courts tell injured parties “No standing to sue.”
My other favorite is "It's moot." As in "Hey, that guy killed my daughter! Arrest him."
Judge: "Yeah, but she's dead now, so it's moot."
