My favorite time travel fiction pieces are the Chinese and Korean dramas where a character from the past time travels to present time and adjusts to the new world.

Not my cuppa, but sounds interesting.
That bodes well for him, and I hope it’s true. Thank you for passing on the report.
Quantum Leap had that same scientific requirement.
I can’t watch modern American TV anymore and I used TO LOVE IT. Too liberal and usually too disgusting. Chinese and Korean have a morality more similar to the 50’s midwest in which I was raised. It’s just beginning to change in some of the modern ones, but not yet gone enough to turn them all off. Major problems with them for me turn out to be fascinating studies in cultural differences. Slapping seems to be a national sport. Also big into dominating boss dramas.
IIRC (I was very young at the time), Roman Dictators were appointed for a short period of time (a few months) to solve a particular problem. And, until Sulla, they typically gave up their powers afterwards.

DJT has said Barron is 6-9 in a speech recently
So I watch Brit series, most of which are now also utter garbage.
Having grown up during the "GOLDEN AGE OF T.V.", I know just how good it used to be. The difference is night & day!
Thankfully, TCM show great old movies and old American and Brit series are on YouTube.
I watch his rallies and haven't heard him say ( he usually just says: VERY TALL ), 6'7". In what speech/rally did he give the numbers you claim he said?
Yes, British TV! Watch a lot of it. Husband is now going thru Father Browne again.

I actually wrote movie scripts for a few years. Was represented by Grisham’s NYC book agent and subcontracted out to Writers & Artists in Hollywood for 2 years. Romantic comedies. Vampire comedy and another Werecub comedy. Scriptwriting is an absolutely fascinating box to work in.
I saw that number, too, in a Daily Mail previous article.
OTOH...there are quite a few MYSTERY series on YouTube.
And a series that I had NEVER heard of ( Ceder Tree ), was mentioned by a Brit YouTuber I watch and that is on YouTube ( the full series) and is wonderful!
I bet it is. Good for you!
Have you seen the Sister Boniface Mysteries...?
Also excellent!
Recently. Within the last month
Because I make music videos, we buy every series we watch. And, yes, some of the prices make me grit my teeth. We watch a lot of British mysteries. It’s just that I don’t have music videos of them. We stopped Dr Who when it went lib and that’s a big hole in our watching life.
Found this online:

No. I’ll take a look. Many thanks for the suggestions. Husband has just finished yet another pass thru our DVD collection and is getting antsy. That might help.
