That’s OK. Harrison is just doing fine with his lovely wife, who is not interested in being a tennis star, and two young children.
He has been going to our church, and my daughter was staring at him as he was leaving after Mass, so he said “Hello” to her. My 20 year-old daughter (who actually IS a Chiefs fan) said, “I know who you are!”, and he offered a selfie. She has a short video with him now. He also was happy after Mass to sign autographs and get selfies with the kids. The adults just left him alone, as he likely gets bothered enough. He didn’t stop for coffee and donuts.
I am a Rams fan, but I am also very much a Harrison Butker fan.
Having a public "football hero" - who is also a stand-up guy and strong witness for Christ attend your church probably doubles attendance too. It gives kids and people hope and fearlessness through his public witness, and something to look up to.
Lucky you!
