How in the world do you measure “food addiction”? Aren’t we all “addicted” to food?

You ever seen an actual food addict? We arent “all addicted to food.” Some people have to consciously force rhemselves to eat. Most people eat, get full and stop. That’s not addiction obviously.

The food addict on tthr other hand will eat, and eat and eat. He will not feel full at any point until his gut is in agony. Even then he may feel hunger. That is hood addiction.

Having said that most prople aren’t food addicts, just gluttons.

By food, they mean specific kinds of food or food items. For example, a friend is trying to eat a more healthy died, but cannot seem to lose the gut size. I urge them to get probiotic beverage or kefir, but they think eating yogurt is enough. In addition they continue to buy higher carb barbacue sauce, and higher carb fruit and nut trail mixes and eat a lot every day. I was getting “addicted” to gourmet mixed nuts and too many a day. Now I put a small amount in a small jar and only eat that amount daily. I also take several swallows of a probiotic drink daily. The weight is staying down now.
